Alan is a founder Partner of the St. James's Place Partnership and one of only 38 Principal Partners within the group. He brings over 25 years experience in financial services to his role as Principal of The Pentelow Practice Ltd.

Building and consolidating the range of client services for The Pentelow Practice Ltd over the years has been one of Alan’s key focuses based around the premise of enabling clients to protect, grow and enjoy their wealth, as well as being able to pass it on.

Alan is a keen rugby union fan, and has enjoyed the role of Yorkshire RUFC selector, along with being President of Halifax RUFC.

He has utilised these skills to tackle many challenges he has experienced over the years, while building and consolidating the range of services to clients and the reputation of The Pentelow Practice Ltd. Alan’s areas of expertise are the investment market and inheritance tax planning.
